Professional Charting Software
Having access to professional charts to monitor the markets is something every serious investor must have. To properly analyse the market you are involved in will give you a valuable edge. Tradingview.com is my go-to for technical analysis. Here is where I do all my charting; analysis, projections, journaling. For beginners and veterans alike, this site is invaluable and has just about anything you could want for planning and monitoring your investments.
Cryptocurrency, FX And Everything Under The Sun
With Tradingview you can chart everything from low-cap altcoins to Bitcoin to gold futures, bunds, foreign-exchange and exotic financial derivatives. All this is provided through a website that looks great and is as easy or complex to use as you like. In 2017, Tradingview started adding many more cryptocurrency exchanges to their list of services, giving a coin-trader the same access to charts, tools, chat-rooms and resources that the rest of the financial world has access to.
Beginners And Veterans Alike – All The Indicators
For beginners, it has an extensive list of drawing tools and basic indicators which you can alter to your own parameters, it has a range of great features like chat-rooms, market widgets and watch-lists all in one service. For more experienced traders, coding your own indicator and trading scripts is also possible. You can program and test trading strategies, and the list goes on. News feeds, chat-windows for different sectors, you can analyse then share your charts on your profile wall, follow the posts of other traders and a whole list of other market windows and widgets to help you find the value you’re looking for.
Tradingview Subscriptions
There are three levels of subscription to suit your needs, ‘Pro’, Pro +’ and ‘Premium’, plus a whole list of service add-ons for sophisticated investors. As a beginner, the Pro package will give you access to pretty much everything you need as a new investor. The higher the level of subscription, the more choices open up to what you can do with the site. Check out the subscription page to see a full list of the packages available.
The higher the subscription level the more charts you can have in one window, the more alerts you can set, the more indicators you can use at once etc etc. As you can see, there are 3 main options for you to choose from based on what you need for whatever level of trading or investing you are engaged in. Plus, you can start it with a 30 day free-trial.
What’s Not To Like on Tradingview?
I’m not sure I have any real negatives about the site. What could be better? Some functionality is lost when using Tradingview with a touchscreen but this is true for all touchscreen charting. There’s still some Cryptocurrency exchanges that aren’t supported. There are many more positives to this site than negatives though. Being able to have alerts sent to my phone, keeping me in touch with my investments while on the go, for instance, is a massive plus. This and all the other excellent options this site has available makes it a great and reliable resource.
