Crypto culture, what is that exactly? We have it as a tagline in our logo so you would think we would be churning out content on Crypto’s culture. Well, we haven’t. We have decided it is high time we gave you some thoughts and some real gems on the crypto culture topic!
Bitcoin Music
In this video we look at some of the music, people have produced about Bitcoin. As content creators who toil away in the roller coaster of emotions ride that is Bitcoin, I totally get how people have been inspired to take to the music studio and video editing suite to convey their passion for Bitcoin. In the main, these people appear to be doing this with no financial incentive, just pure passion. We at Hardforking applaud them all, no matter how crap some of the songs are. Hardforking is a passion project for us too, we don’t get paid and we do it out of a passion for Bitcoin.
Crypto Culture reflected in art
You can obviously learn a lot about a culture from its art. I wrote an article a couple of years ago on crypto culture, in fact, I wrote it numerous times, confused myself and then didn’t publish it. The problem I had, was defining Cryptos culture. A huge diversity exists just as the entire Crypto space represents so many different projects.
I am ultimately a Bitcoiner and Hardforking is a Bitcoin site. Even within Bitcoin, huge differences exist in the subcultures. This ranges from people who came into Bitcoin through their love of freedom and smoking Ganja and hence their use of the silk road. It includes the hardest core financial and economic gurus, who see it as the soundest money ever created and our ultimate saviour form the looming financial timebomb.
