How to buy Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies
It has become a lot easier to buy Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies and options exist in most countries. We have listed four of the bigger exchanges that cover most countries on our buy page. More options are listed in the review and resource sections of the site. You need to find the exchange that is right for you in your country. Signing up does not require a purchase. Getting set up is a first step, so check out the video as a guide for what that looks like.
Is it a good time to buy Bitcoin
We do not give financial advice but aim to provide lots of resources to help you make a decision on if Bitcoin is for you. I would say that many other Cryptocurrencies can come with greater risk than Bitcoin so exercise extreme caution when considering what you want to buy. Many have very low liquidity and in extreme cases the volume is misrepresented by the exchange.
My personal opinion is that we may see Bitcoin drop in value in the short term but I strongly believe it will make large gains through 2019.
Bitcoin and Crypto Wallets
The reality is most people leave their newly purchased Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies on the exchange where they have purchased them. This comes with the risk of a hack of the exchange. We DO NOT advise doing this but if you are going to make sure you use a good exchange to minimise this risk.
Wallets come in both hardware and software versions and a hardware option is a good idea. We have reviewed the options for you: Crypto Wallet Resources
